CREATING EUREKA   MOMENTS

The IDEAS Festival does 3 big things:

WORKSHOPS
TRAINING
COMMUNITY

a catalyst for brighter futures

Eureka! moments happen when we're exposed to IDEAS and information that we might not have been able to access ourselves. We want to help create more a-ha's for students growing up in regional New Zealand.

Students living in the regions have limited access to the kinds of festivals and change-making experiences that city-centre students can engage with regularly.

The IDEAS Festival exists to put all the ingredients together- exciting, experiential learning, students exploring tertiary campuses, and big names that show instead of simply telling.

offering regional youth access to inspirational opportunities

What people are saying

CHALI, 10

Attendee

"I was buzzing for a week after the festival! I had the opportunity to try things I had never experienced before."

LEXI, 18

Student Leader

"It's the opportunity to learn for the sake of learning - not for a test or a grade.... the students were all so excited to learn."

AMADEO

Festival Presenter

"When I was a student, I was sick of sitting in a classroom and being bored. That's what I thought science had to be. That's why I show kids otherwise."
